BACK AT THE BLACKSHEEP

" If Hades had a telephone line to Earth a call down there would sound like John Carroll's voice on Everybody Smokes in Hell"( Penguin Eggs magazine). Backed by one of the most proficient and musically adventurous bands around, John Carroll brings his live to show back to the Black Sheep Inn for another evening of ingeniously crafted songs and pure spontaneous musical explosiveness.  His music will rip your mind apart and then reconstruct it better than before, you'll leave you feeling like 6 million dollars , but 6 million dollars when it was a lot of money.

Special Guests SALTON SEA will be there to warm up the crowd.  Born of backyards and late-night suburban walkabouts, Ottawa duo Salton Sea blends tweed-folk and broken blues with that somehow-nostalgic feeling found in thumbing thru old record collections.  After several years of writing music and laying low, Salton Sea have come down the mountain with a whole new sound, and an earful to share with their debut album, "
This Boat Ain't Big Enought for the Two of Us".
